The dual meet travel team and the GRYWL.

Dual meet travel team

Penfield will be competing in the GRYWL this season, a competitive dual meet league made up of 20 teams. Penfield wrestlers ages K–6th grade will have the opportunity to compete for a spot on our travel dual meet team.

How the team is chosen

The dual meet team is chosen by wrestle-offs. Wrestlers who want to be part of the travel experience but do not make the starting line-up may be eligible to travel with the team for exhibition matches.

Greater Rochester Youth Wrestling League

The GRYWL is a competitive league for town-based youth wrestling programs in the greater Rochester area. Wrestlers competing for each team must live within that registered team's school district boundaries. The league lets youth teams compete against each other in a dual meet format similar to the one used at the junior high, high school and collegiate levels.
